After many years of trying to create a way of magnetically posting and viewing a full 365-day line-item schedule without using an excessively wide board, we developed this GrandPlanner^® system design. The answer was to condense the horizontal grid scale to fit a standard width project board and then also print the same grid on the write-on plastic-laminated magnet strips so they would register with the board grid and could be scissor-cut to show the task day-length by counting the day grid spaces on the magnet. Magnetic Month / Date Strip

Lines and days are heat-fused printed into the porcelain-like hand-smooth,steel surface for a lifetime of daily use, staying clean and like new.

Write on the board and use tape.

Printed bold weekend lines.

Scissor-cut the grid-printed write-on magnetic strip to show the task day length.

1- day line spaces are printed on the magnet strip to register with the board grid. Count the number of day spaces on the magnet to show the task length, scissor cut to exact scale and display it on the board grid.

To update once a year, just reposition the printed month / date magnets. They register with the board grid and a full month is printed on each magnet (set of 12). Tape bold lines between months.

Magnet colors (10) can code action type. You can write on the magnet strip. Use magnet cardholders too.
